Why is public service important to you?

Public service is important to me because it gives me the privilege to help build a better future for the community, and that gives me great fulfillment.

Why did you choose a career in Public Service?

Both my parents had their career in public service, spanning over 70 years cumulatively. Even after they retired, I see people walk up to them to say, “thank you for all you did”, this inspired me to serve others in all that I do. Today, I am happy that I can build my career around great values that matter to me such as customer service, accountability, and respect for all.

What would you say to inspire someone to begin a career in public service?

If you are looking for a chance to make a positive difference, serve others, and you’re asking, “what can I do for my country?” then there is a place for you in public service.
