Every City of Houston employee is part of the service industry—we work so our government can serve the needs of Houston residents.

But some go above and beyond, offering exceptional service with a great attitude that comes naturally. Their dedication doesn’t stop when they clock out—they use their free time to mentor a child, assist an elderly neighbor, or help a resident in need.

These selfless individuals may not seek recognition, but their service enriches our city and inspires us all. They are among Houston’s best, and for them, we reserve our highest honor: Bravo.
