Each year, we select PSRW Coordinators from each city department to assist with Public Service Recognition Week (PSRW). These coordinators play a valuable role in preparing for the celebration and recognition of more than 25,000 city employees who have dedicated themselves to serving their city. We understand that this is a voluntary position and sincerely appreciate the coordinators’ efforts in highlighting public service within our community.

Coordinator Responsibilities

Leading up to and during Public Service Recognition Week, coordinators are responsible for:

• Informing their department about upcoming PSRW events
• Assisting with the Mayor’s Service Awards
• Supporting PSRW Field Day and related activities
• Distributing service award pins and certificates

Additional Information

Marketing materials will be provided to coordinators to help promote PSRW events. Flyers will be available for download, printing, and distribution. All details regarding coordinator responsibilities, as well as PSRW event dates, times, and locations, will be accessible on the PSRW website. Be on the lookout for weekly PSRW emails with important updates and information.
